Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, set aside to cool slightly.

  2. 2

    Combine Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, sift together the flour, salt, and sugar.

  3. 3

    Mix Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract together until well combined.

  4. 4

    Combine Mixtures

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, and mix gently until just combined. Fold in the melted butter.

Cooking

  1. 5

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking dish by greasing it lightly.

  2. 6

    Bake the Mixture

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  3. 7

    Cool and Serve

Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Cut into squares and serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar and topped with fresh berries and whipped cream.
