Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patty

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and pepper. Form into 4 equal patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty and cover to melt.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Buns

Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each bun, layer lettuce, the cooked patty with melted cheese, tomato slices, onion slices, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.

Fries Preparation

  1. 6

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips.

  2. 7

    Heat the Oil

In a deep fryer or large pot, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

  3. 8

    Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the potato strips to the hot oil in batches. Fry for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

  4. 9

    Drain and Season

Remove the fries from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil. Sprinkle with salt to taste.
