Blend the Base
In a food processor, combine black beans, cream cheese, sour cream, olive oil, garlic powder, cumin, and optional jalapeño. Blend until smooth and creamy. If needed, add a little water to achieve desired consistency.

Add Cheese
Transfer the black bean mixture to a baking dish and stir in half of the Monterey Jack and Colby cheese.

Bake
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Top the dip with the remaining cheese and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm with tortilla chips.
