Loaded Fries Directions
- 1
Prepare the Fries
Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the frozen fries package. Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake until golden and crispy, usually about 20-25 minutes.
- 2
Cook the Chorizo
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chorizo sausage until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Break it up into small pieces as it cooks.
- 3
Make the Cashew Nacho Cheese Sauce
In a blender, combine the soaked cashews, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add a little water if needed to achieve a smooth and creamy consistency. Blend until smooth.
- 4
Assemble the Loaded Fries
Once the fries are done baking, remove them from the oven and layer them with the cooked chorizo, roasted corn, and chopped scallions. Drizzle the cashew nacho cheese sauce generously over the top.
- 5
Serve
Serve immediately while hot, and enjoy your loaded fries!
