Hot Hunny Fried Chicken Ingredients
Method
Cooking Directions
- 1
Marinate the Chicken
In a large bowl, combine chicken thighs and buttermilk. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
- 2
Prepare the Coating
In another bowl, mix together the flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper.
- 3
Coat the Chicken
Remove the chicken from the buttermilk and allow excess to drip off. Dredge the chicken in the seasoned flour mixture, ensuring each piece is well coated.
- 4
Fry the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the coated chicken. Fry for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- 5
Assemble the Sandwich
Spread ranch dressing on the bottom of a bun. Add fried chicken, drizzle with hot honey sauce, and top with sliced tomato, lettuce, and dill pickle chips. Cover with the top bun.
