Ingredients
Marinade and Beef
Preparation
1. Marinate the Beef
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped green onions, and black pepper. Mix well until the sugar is dissolved. Place the beef flank steak in a zip-top bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
2. Grill the Beef
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove the beef from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off. Discard the marinade. Grill the beef for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
3. Serve
Once cooked, remove the beef from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Slice the beef thinly against the grain and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and additional chopped green onions before serving.
