Method

Beef Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Beef

Generously season the dry aged beef steak with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Cook the Beef

Preheat a grill or skillet over high heat. Cook the beef for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.

  3. 3

    Melt the Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place the Havarti cheese on top of the beef to melt.

Bacon and Egg

  1. 4

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet, cook the maple bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  2. 5

    Fry the Eggs

In the same skillet, fry the eggs to your liking (sunny-side up or over-easy).

Fries Preparation

  1. 6

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and cut the potatoes into fries.

  2. 7

    Fry the Potatoes

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry the potatoes in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels and season with salt to taste.

Assembly

  1. 8

    Plate the Dish

On a plate, place the cooked beef steak topped with melted Havarti cheese, crispy maple bacon, and a fried egg. Serve with fries on the side.
