Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Patties
In a large bowl, combine the ground Angus beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until just combined. Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
- 2
Grill the Burgers
Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness, adding cheese during the last minute of cooking if desired.
- 3
Toast the Buns
While the burgers are cooking, cut the brioche buns in half and toast them on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
Assembly
- 4
Assemble the Burgers
On the bottom half of each toasted brioche bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by a burger patty. Top with tomato slices, pickles, red onion, and your choice of condiments. Finish with the top half of the bun.
