Ribs Preparation

Prepare the Ribs
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and season generously with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.

Bake the Ribs
Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover tightly with another sheet of foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until tender.

Make the Coleslaw
In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and carrots. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss to coat. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Serve the ribs with extra barbecue sauce on the side, the coleslaw, and corn on the cob.
