Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Station

Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mixture of breadcrumbs, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

  2. 2

    Coat the Cheese

Take each mozzarella stick and first coat it in the flour, then dip it into the beaten eggs, and finally roll it in the breadcrumb mixture. Make sure they are well coated.

  3. 3

    Double Coat (Optional)

For extra crunch, you can repeat the egg and breadcrumb coating process.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a deep fryer or large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  2. 5

    Fry the Mozza Sticks

Carefully place the coated mozzarella sticks in the hot oil, a few at a time. Fry for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

  3. 6

    Drain and Serve

Remove the fried mozzarella sticks from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot with pizza sauce.
