Honey Cajun Chicken Sandwich Recipe
Southern style chicken breast fried to a crispy finish and topped with Honey Cajun sauce, smoked pepper sauce, jalapeño straws and all the fixings. Served on a brioche bun with a deep fried pickle and your choice of side. Also available on a lettuce bun.

In a bowl, combine buttermilk and cajun seasoning. Add chicken breasts, ensuring they are fully submerged. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight for best results.

Prepare the Coating
In another bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.

Bread the Chicken
Remove chicken from marinade and let excess buttermilk drip off. Dredge each piece in the flour mixture, pressing to adhere. Shake off excess flour.

Fry the Chicken
Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add chicken and fry for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Make the Sauce
In a small bowl, mix honey, mayonnaise, and smoked pepper sauce until well combined.
