Chicken Fingers
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Cut the chicken breasts into strips, about 1 inch wide. Pat them dry with paper towels.
- 2
Set Up Dredging Station
In three separate shallow bowls, place flour in the first bowl, whisk together eggs and milk in the second bowl, and combine breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in the third bowl.
- 3
Dredge the Chicken
Coat each chicken strip in flour, shaking off excess, then dip in the egg mixture, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture. Press the breadcrumbs to adhere well.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 5
Fry the Chicken
Carefully add chicken strips to the hot oil in batches, cooking for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Use a slotted spoon to transfer them to a paper towel-lined plate.
- 6
Serve
Serve the chicken fingers hot with your choice of dipping sauce.
