Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Wings
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and place them in a large bowl. Season with salt and black pepper. Sprinkle cornstarch over the wings and toss until evenly coated.
- 2
Bake the Wings
Arrange the wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
- 3
Make the Glaze
While the wings are baking, combine soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and minced ginger in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it starts to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened.
- 4
Coat the Wings
Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and toss them in the prepared glaze until well coated.
- 5
Garnish and Serve
Transfer the glazed wings to a serving platter. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
