Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with unsalted butter or line it with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt.

In another bowl, beat the eggs, then add milk, vanilla extract, and melted unsalted butter. Mix well.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.

Gently fold in your chosen fruit (e.g., blueberries or strawberries) into the batter.
Baking

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.

Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
