Gather all the ingredients including Irish whiskey, fresh lime juice, ginger beer, lime wedge, and fresh mint leaves.

Juicing the Lime

Cut a fresh lime in half and squeeze out 1 ounce of juice. Set aside.

Mixing the Drink

In a cocktail shaker, pour 2 ounces of Irish whiskey and 1 ounce of fresh lime juice.
