Method

Preparing the Mikey Sauce

  1. 1

In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined. Set aside.

Making the Burgers

  1. 2

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Form the mixture into two equal patties, each weighing approximately 1/4 lb.

  2. 3

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

Assembling the Big Mikey

  1. 4

Toast the triple decker bun on the grill or in a toaster.

  2. 5

On the bottom slice of the bun, spread a generous amount of Mikey sauce.

  3. 6

Layer on one lettuce leaf, one burger patty, a slice of cheddar cheese, pickles, and onions.

  4. 7

Repeat the layering with the second burger patty, cheese, pickles, and onions.

  5. 8

Top with the middle slice of bun, add more Mikey sauce, and finish with the top bun.

  6. 9

Serve immediately and enjoy your Big Mikey!
