1. Prepare the Wild Rice
In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 cup of wild rice blend and a pinch of salt. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 45 minutes or until the rice is tender and water is absorbed.
2. Season the Salmon
While the rice is cooking, season the salmon filets with olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and chopped dill.
3. Steam the Salmon
Fill a steamer pot with water and bring to a boil. Place the seasoned salmon filets in the steamer basket and cover. Steam for about 10-12 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
4. Serve
Once the wild rice is ready, fluff with a fork. Serve the steamed salmon filets over a bed of wild rice and garnish with additional dill if desired.
