1. Prepare the Rice

In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add the wild rice blend and a pinch of salt. Cover and reduce heat to low. Cook for about 40-50 minutes or until the rice is tender and water is absorbed. Fluff with a fork and set aside.

2. Prepare the Shrimp

In a steamer basket, arrange the shrimp in a single layer. Sprinkle minced garlic, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper evenly over the shrimp. Place lemon slices on top.

3. Steam the Shrimp

Fill a pot with a few inches of water and bring to a simmer. Place the steamer basket over the pot, cover, and steam the shrimp for about 5-7 minutes or until they turn pink and opaque.

4. Serve

Serve the steamed shrimp over the wild rice blend. Garnish with chopped parsley and additional lemon slices if desired.
