Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Clams

Rinse the clams under cold water to remove any sand. Discard any that are open or damaged.

  2. 2

    Sauté Garlic

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

  3. 3

    Add Clams

Add the rinsed clams to the skillet and stir to coat them in the garlic oil.

  4. 4

    Add Wine and Season

Pour in the white wine, then add the red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.

  5. 5

    Cook the Clams

Cover the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the clams have opened. Discard any that remain closed.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from heat, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve hot with crusty bread.
