Prepare the Ingredients
Cook the bacon until crispy. Set aside.

Assemble the Sandwich
Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread. Place one slice of bread butter-side down on a skillet. Layer with cheddar cheese and cooked bacon, then top with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.

Grill the Sandwich
Cook on medium heat for about 3-4 minutes until the bottom slice is golden brown. Carefully flip the sandwich and grill the other side for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.

Remove from skillet, cut in half, and serve hot.
