Cooking Instructions
1. Prepare the Ribs
Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and trim any excess fat.
2. Make the Rub
In a bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix well.
3. Season the Ribs
Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated. Drizzle liquid smoke over the ribs for added flavor.
4. Smoke the Ribs
Place the ribs in the smoker bone side down. Smoke for about 4 hours, maintaining a steady temperature.
5. Glaze with BBQ Sauce
In the last 30 minutes of smoking, brush BBQ sauce over the ribs every 10 minutes to create a sticky glaze.
6. Rest and Serve
Once cooked, remove the ribs from the smoker and let them rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
