Chicken Strips Ingredients
Method
Cooking Directions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Cut the boneless chicken breasts into strips, about 1 inch wide.
- 2
Set Up Breading Stations
In three separate shallow bowls, place flour in the first bowl, beaten eggs in the second bowl, and bread crumbs mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika in the third bowl.
- 3
Bread the Chicken
Coat each chicken strip first in the flour, then dip it into the egg, and finally coat it with the breadcrumb mixture. Press the breadcrumbs onto the chicken to ensure they stick.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 5
Fry the Chicken Strips
Carefully place the breaded chicken strips into the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- 6
Drain and Serve
Remove the chicken strips from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauces.
