Preparation Instructions

1

Cook the Chuck Roast

In a slow cooker, season the J4 chuck roast with salt and pepper. Cook on low for 8 hours or until tender. Once done, shred the meat with two forks.

2

Prepare the Custard Eggs

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add butter. Pour in the egg mixture and gently stir until the eggs are cooked through and fluffy.

3

Assemble the Hoagies

Slice the hoagie rolls open. Layer the shredded chuck roast, custard eggs, provolone cheese, and pickled Fresno peppers inside each roll.

4

Toast the Hoagies

Heat the assembled hoagies in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the rolls are toasted.
