Method
Preparation
Make the Marinade
In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, grated ginger, minced garlic, sesame oil, and lemon juice until well combined.
Marinate the Salmon
Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure the salmon is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
Cooking
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Prepare the Baking Sheet
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
Bake the Salmon
Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Season with salt and black pepper. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Glaze the Salmon
During the last 5 minutes of baking, brush the salmon with additional marinade for extra flavor and a glossy finish.
Serving
Garnish and Serve
Once cooked, remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
