Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Start by cleaning and deveining the prawns. Slice the red and green bell peppers into strips and chop the onion into wedges. Mince the garlic.

  2. 2

    Heat the Oil

In a large wok or frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it's hot.

  3. 3

    Sauté Aromatics

Add minced garlic to the hot oil and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Be careful not to burn it.

  4. 4

    Cook the Prawns

Add the cleaned prawns to the pan and stir-fry until they turn pink and are cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.

  5. 5

    Add Vegetables

Stir in the sliced bell peppers and onion, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.

  6. 6

    Season the Dish

Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, chili paste, and black pepper to the mixture. Stir well to combine all the flavors.

  7. 7

    Add Thai Basil

Finally, toss in the fresh Thai basil leaves and stir-fry for another minute until they wilt.

  8. 8

    Serve Hot

Remove from heat and serve immediately with steamed rice.
