Method

Cooking the Ribs

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F). In a bowl, mix salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and brown sugar. Rub this mixture all over the pork ribs.

  2. 2

    Bake the Ribs

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil. Cover with another piece of foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.

  3. 3

    Add BBQ Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top foil. Brush BBQ sauce generously over the ribs and return to the oven for an additional 30 minutes.

Making the Fries

  1. 4

    Prepare the Potatoes

While the ribs are baking, wash and cut the potatoes into thin strips.

  2. 5

    Season the Fries

In a mixing bowl, toss the potato strips with olive oil, salt, paprika, and garlic powder until evenly coated.

  3. 6

    Bake the Fries

Spread the seasoned potatoes on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for about 30-35 minutes at 200°C (400°F), turning halfway through until golden and crispy.
