Method

Pasta Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Fettuccine

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Alfredo Sauce Preparation

  1. 2

    Make the Alfredo Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese, black pepper, and nutmeg. Keep stirring until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat.

Tilapia Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare the Tilapia

Preheat the broiler. In a bowl, mix Cajun seasoning, olive oil, and lemon juice. Rub the mixture over the tilapia fillets. Place the fillets on a baking sheet and broil for about 5-7 minutes or until cooked through and flaky.

Combine and Serve

  1. 4

    Combine Fettuccine and Sauce

In a large serving bowl, combine the cooked fettuccine and Alfredo sauce. Toss to coat the pasta evenly.

  2. 5

    Serve

Plate the fettuccine Alfredo and top with the broiled tilapia. Garnish with extra Parmesan and parsley if desired.
