Shrimp Preparation

Prepare the Shrimp
In a bowl, season the shrimp with salt and pepper. Set aside.

Prepare Breading Stations
Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mixture of shredded coconut and panko breadcrumbs.

Coat the Shrimp
Dredge each shrimp in flour, dip into eggs, and then coat in the coconut-panko mixture.
Frying

Heat the Oil
In a deep pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot.

Fry the Shrimp
Fry the coated shrimp in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, rice vinegar, sesame seeds, and chopped green onions until well combined.
