Preparation
Prepare the Fritter Mixture
In a mixing bowl, combine goat cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined and form into small balls.
Fry the Fritters
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the fritter balls to the skillet. Fry until golden brown on all sides, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Assemble the Dish
On a plate, create a bed of mixed greens. Place the fried goat cheese fritters on top, add a dollop of apple chutney, sprinkle with shaved roasted almonds, and drizzle with honey to taste.
