Prepare the Au Jus
In a saucepan, combine beef broth, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Bring to a simmer and let cook for about 10 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.

Cook the Prime Rib
In a skillet, heat cooking oil over medium-high heat. Season the prime rib roast with salt and pepper. Sear all sides of the roast until browned (about 3-4 minutes per side). Transfer to a slow cooker.

Slow Cook the Prime Rib
Pour the prepared au jus over the prime rib in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, until the meat is tender and easily shreds with a fork.

Assemble the Sandwich
Shave the cooked prime rib and layer it on the toasted baguette. Top with white cheddar cheese and haystack onions. Drizzle horseradish sauce on top.
