Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Wings
In a bowl, mix the flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
- 2
Bread the Wings
Dip each chicken wing first into the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off, then coat thoroughly with the dry flour mixture. Place the breaded wings on a tray.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a deep skillet or fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
- 4
Fry the Wings
Carefully add the breaded wings to the hot oil in batches, frying for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Use a thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- 5
Drain and Serve
Remove the wings from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with dipping sauce options such as Ranch, Yum Yum, Blue Cheese, or Social Sauce.
