Pasta

Method

Cooking the Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti or linguine and cook according to the package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.

  2. 2

    Drain and Set Aside

Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander and set aside. Reserve a cup of pasta water for later use.

Cooking the Seafood

  1. 3

    Cook the Shrimp and Scallops

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the shrimp and scallops, cooking for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.

  2. 4

    Add Crab Meat

Gently fold in the crab meat and cook for an additional 2 minutes, ensuring it is heated through. Remove seafood from skillet and set aside.

Making the Garlic Cream Sauce

  1. 5

    Prepare the Sauce

In the same skillet, lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream. Stir well, scraping up any bits from the bottom of the pan.

  2. 6

    Add Cheese and Seasoning

Add the grated Parmesan cheese and black pepper to the cream, stirring continuously until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 7

    Combine Pasta and Seafood

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the garlic cream sauce, tossing to coat evenly. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until desired consistency is reached.

  2. 8

    Serve

Return the seafood to the skillet and gently toss everything together. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.
