Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and fresh dill to create the marinade.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for maximum flavor.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, about 400-450°F (200-230°C).

  2. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 5-6 minutes, then carefully flip and grill for an additional 4-5 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Serving

  1. 5

    Serve the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the grill and transfer it to a serving platter. Garnish with fresh dill and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
