Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Finely chop the onion and mince the garlic. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels. Once cooled, crumble the bacon into small pieces.

  3. 3

    Cook the Beef

In the same skillet, add olive oil if necessary, then add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent. Add the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Cook until the beef is browned and fully cooked through, about 7-10 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add BBQ Sauce

Once the beef is fully cooked, stir in the BBQ sauce and crumbled bacon. Allow the mixture to simmer for about 5 minutes on low heat.

  5. 5

    Toast the Buns

While the beef mixture is simmering, toast the burger buns in a separate skillet or under a broiler until golden brown.

  6. 6

    Assemble the Burgers

On the bottom half of each burger bun, place a generous scoop of the beef and bacon mixture. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and pickles. Place the top half of the bun on to finish the burger.

  7. 7

    Serve

Serve the burgers immediately while hot with your favorite side dishes.
