Prepare the Glass
Chill a martini glass by filling it with ice water and setting it aside while you prepare the cocktail.

Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz of Citadelle Gin or Wheatly Vodka with 0.5 oz of Noilly Prat Dry Vermouth.

Add Ice
Fill the mixing glass with 1 cup of ice cubes.

Stir the Mixture
Using a bar spoon, stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled.

Prepare the Glass Again
Empty the ice water from the chilled martini glass.

Strain the Cocktail
Using a strainer, pour the chilled mixture from the mixing glass into the prepared martini glass.

Garnish with Lemon Twist
Take a piece of lemon peel and twist it over the cocktail to release the oils. Drop the twist into the drink as a garnish.
