Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Belly

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rub the pork belly with salt and pepper, and place it on a baking dish. Bake for about 2-3 hours until tender. Let it cool, then chop into small pieces.

  2. 2

    Cook the Macaroni

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  3. 3

    Make the Cheese Sauce

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute. Gradually whisk in the milk, and cook until the mixture thickens. Stir in the cheddar cheese, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.

  4. 4

    Combine Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, cheese sauce, and chopped pork belly. Mix well to combine.

  5. 5

    Bake

Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top. Bake in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
