Method

Cooking Directions

1

Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor and tenderness.

2

Make the Rub

In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.

3

Season the Ribs

Rub the spice mixture generously over both sides of the spare ribs, ensuring they are well coated.

4

Marinate

Place the ribs in a large dish and drizzle with apple cider vinegar. Cover and let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

5

Bake the Ribs

Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.

6

Glaze with BBQ Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven, uncover them, and brush with BBQ sauce. Return to the oven for an additional 30 minutes, uncovered, to caramelize the sauce.

7

Serve

Allow the ribs to rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving with your favorite sides.
