Prepare the Lemon Dill Oil
In a small bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, and chopped dill. Set aside.

Season the Cod
If using the blackening spices, mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl. Rub this mixture all over the cod fillets.

Broil the Cod
Preheat the broiler. Place the seasoned cod fillets on a baking sheet lined with foil. Brush the lemon dill oil over the fillets. Broil for about 6-8 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

Remove the cod from the heat and serve immediately, drizzling any remaining lemon dill oil over the top.
