Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fries

Peel and cut the potatoes into fries. Soak them in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  2. 2

    Make the Parmesan Herb Fries

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Drain and pat dry the fries, then toss them with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Spread them on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and crispy. In the last 5 minutes, sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese and chopped fresh herbs.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Steak

Season the NY Strip Steak with salt and black pepper on both sides. Heat a grill or skillet over high heat and add a little olive oil. Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is achieved.

  4. 4

    Make the Black Pepper Aioli

In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper. Add hot sauce to taste. Stir until well combined.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Dish

Serve the grilled NY Strip Steak alongside the parmesan herb fries and a generous dollop of black pepper aioli for dipping.
