Duck Poutine Ingredients

Method

Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fries

Preheat your oven according to the French fries package instructions. Spread the frozen French fries on a baking sheet and bake until golden brown and crispy, usually about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.

  2. 2

    Heat the Duck Confit

While the fries are cooking, heat the duck confit in a pan over medium heat until warmed through, about 5-7 minutes. Shred the duck into smaller pieces with a fork.

  3. 3

    Warm the Gravy

In a small saucepan, heat the duck or chicken gravy over medium heat until hot. Stir occasionally to avoid sticking.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Poutine

Once the fries are done, remove them from the oven and season with salt and black pepper. Place the fries on a serving dish, top with shredded duck confit, and sprinkle cheese curds over the top. Finally, drizzle the hot gravy generously over everything.

  5. 5

    Garnish and Serve

Garnish the poutine with chopped parsley if desired. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious duck poutine!
