For the Corn Flake Coating

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Filling

In a bowl, mix the cream cheese and raspberry preserves until well combined. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Egg Mixture

In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.

  3. 3

    Assemble the French Toast

Spread a generous amount of the cream cheese and raspberry mixture on four slices of bread. Top with the remaining four slices to create sandwiches.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Coat the Sandwiches

Crush the corn flakes into smaller pieces and place them in a shallow dish. Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off, then coat with crushed corn flakes on both sides.

  2. 5

    Cook the French Toast

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the corn flake-coated sandwiches and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
