Cauliflower Steak

Lifecap Organic Mushrooms

Tabbouleh

Method

Prepare Cauliflower Steak

  1. 1

    Slice the Cauliflower

Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and trim the stem. Slice the cauliflower into 1-inch thick steaks.

  2. 2

    Season the Steaks

Brush both sides of the cauliflower steaks with olive oil and season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

  3. 3

    Cook the Steaks

Heat a grill pan or outdoor grill over medium heat. Cook the cauliflower steaks for about 5-7 minutes on each side until they are tender and have grill marks.

Prepare Lifecap Organic Mushrooms

  1. 4

    Sauté the Mushrooms

In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the lifecap organic mushrooms and thyme, sautéing for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender.

Prepare Tabbouleh

  1. 5

    Cook Bulgur

In a bowl, soak the bulgur wheat in water for about 30 minutes. Once softened, drain any excess water.

  2. 6

    Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the soaked bulgur, chopped parsley, diced tomato, diced cucumber, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt. Mix well.

Serve

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

On a plate, place the grilled cauliflower steak, top with sautéed mushrooms, and serve with a side of tabbouleh.
