House Made Tortilla Chips

Method

Tuna Tartar Preparation

  1. 1

    Dice the Tuna

Cut the Ahi tuna into small 1/4-inch cubes and place them in a mixing bowl.

  2. 2

Add Sesame Seeds and Pico de Gallo

Gently fold in the toasted sesame seeds and pico de gallo to the diced tuna. Mix well to combine.

  3. 3

    Prepare Avocado

Slice the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh out with a spoon. Dice the avocado into small cubes.

Spicy Aioli Preparation

  1. 4

    Combine Ingredients

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, lemon juice, and minced garlic clove.

  2. 5

    Season

Add salt to taste and mix until smooth and well combined.

House Made Tortilla Chips Preparation

  1. 6

    Heat the Oil

In a deep pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot.

  2. 7

    Fry the Tortillas

Cut each corn tortilla into triangles. Fry the tortilla pieces in the hot oil until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes.

  3. 8

    Drain and Season

Remove the chips from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil. While still hot, sprinkle with salt to taste.

Assembly

  1. 9

    Plate the Dish

On a serving plate, scoop a generous portion of the tuna tartar. Top with diced avocado and drizzle with spicy aioli.

  2. 10

    Serve with Chips

Serve immediately with house made tortilla chips on the side for dipping.
