Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Remove the membrane from the back of the rack of ribs using a sharp knife. Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Make the Dry Rub

In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and brown sugar until well combined.

  3. 3

    Season the Ribs

Rub the dry rub mixture generously over both sides of the rack of ribs. Make sure to cover all areas for maximum flavor.

  4. 4

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

  5. 5

    Bake the Ribs

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs with another piece of aluminum foil, sealing the edges to keep moisture in. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours.

  6. 6

    Apply BBQ Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven and take off the top layer of aluminum foil. Brush the BBQ sauce generously over the ribs.

  7. 7

    Broil the Ribs

Place the ribs under the broiler for 5-7 minutes, watching closely to avoid burning, until the sauce is caramelized and bubbly.

  8. 8

    Rest and Serve

Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for about 10 minutes before slicing between the bones. Serve with additional BBQ sauce if desired.
