Method
Baby Back Beef Ribs
- 1
Prepare the Ribs
Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the baby back ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.
- 2
Season the Ribs
In a bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and brown sugar. Rub this mixture all over the ribs, ensuring an even coating.
- 3
Bake the Ribs
Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil. Cover tightly with another piece of foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until tender.
- 4
Baked Beans
- 5
Prepare the Beans
In a medium saucepan, combine the canned baked beans, diced onion, brown sugar, mustard, smoked paprika, and crumbled bacon.
- 6
Heat the Beans
Stir the mixture over medium heat until it begins to simmer. Reduce the heat to low and let it cook for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Coleslaw
- 7
Prepare the Slaw
In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and shredded carrots.
- 8
Make the Dressing
In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper.
- 9
Combine and Chill
Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrots. Toss to coat evenly. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
