Cooking Instructions
1. Prepare the Marinade
In a bowl, combine orange juice, soy sauce, honey, cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Mix well and set aside.
2. Sauté the Onions
Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced onions and minced garlic. Sauté until the onions are translucent.
3. Cook the Pork Chops
Season the pork chops with salt and pepper. Push the onions to the side of the skillet and add the remaining oil. Add the pork chops and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
4. Add the Sauce
Pour the prepared orange sauce over the pork chops and onions. Let it simmer for about 3-4 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.
5. Garnish and Serve
Slice the green onions and sprinkle them on top of the pork chops before serving. Enjoy your Hong Kong Style Pork Chop!
