Method

Pasta Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Fettuccine

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Meat Preparation

  1. 2

    Prepare the Sausage and Chicken

Slice the reindeer sausage into thin rounds. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces. Season the chicken with salt and black pepper.

Sauce Preparation

  1. 3

    Make the Cajun Sauce

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the sliced reindeer sausage and chicken pieces to the skillet, cooking until the chicken is no longer pink.

  2. 4

    Add Spices and Cream

Sprinkle the Cajun seasoning over the meat mixture, stirring to coat evenly. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer and allow to cook for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.

  3. 5

    Incorporate Parmesan

Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and fully incorporated into the sauce. Adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.

Combine and Serve

  1. 6

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet with the Cajun sauce. Toss gently to coat the pasta with the sauce, ensuring everything is well mixed.

  2. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Serve the Cajun chicken fettuccine hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley on top.
