Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Tenderloin

Season the beef tenderloin with salt and black pepper. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the beef for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest before cutting into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Cook the Macaroni

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  3. 3

    Make the Cheese Sauce

In the same pot, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for about 1 minute. Gradually add milk, whisking continuously until the sauce thickens. Stir in the white cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.

  4. 4

    Combine Mac & Cheese

Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce, stirring to combine. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.

  5. 5

    Serve

Spoon the creamy mac and cheese into bowls, top with the tenderloin steak bites, and sprinkle crispy onion tanglers on top. Serve immediately.
