Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare Steak Bites

Cut the beef tenderloin into bite-sized pieces, about 1 inch thick. Wrap each piece with a slice of peppered bacon and secure with a toothpick.

2

Prepare Onion Tanglers

Slice the onions thinly and soak them in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes. In a separate bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

3

Coat the Onions

Remove the onions from the buttermilk, letting excess drip off. Toss them in the flour mixture until fully coated.

4

Fry the Onion Tanglers

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Fry the coated onions in batches until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

5

Cook the Steak Bites

In the same skillet, add the bacon-wrapped steak bites and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until the bacon is crispy and the steak is cooked to your desired doneness.

6

Make Garlic Butter Dipping Sauce

In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add minced fresh garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in chopped parsley.

7

Serve

Remove toothpicks from steak bites, arrange on a platter with crispy onion tanglers, and serve with garlic butter dipping sauce on the side.
