Cooking Instructions
Prepare Steak Bites
Cut the beef tenderloin into bite-sized pieces, about 1 inch thick. Wrap each piece with a slice of peppered bacon and secure with a toothpick.
Prepare Onion Tanglers
Slice the onions thinly and soak them in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes. In a separate bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Coat the Onions
Remove the onions from the buttermilk, letting excess drip off. Toss them in the flour mixture until fully coated.
Fry the Onion Tanglers
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Fry the coated onions in batches until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Make Garlic Butter Dipping Sauce
In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add minced fresh garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in chopped parsley.
