Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all the ingredients and prepare them by dicing the bell pepper and onion. Slice the green onions for garnish.

2

Scramble the Eggs

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the pan and scramble until fully cooked. Remove from the pan and set aside.

3

Sauté the Vegetables

In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the diced onion and bell pepper. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until they are softened.

4

Combine Rice and Seasonings

Add the cooked jasmine rice to the pan with the vegetables. Pour in the soy sauce and mix well. Stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.

5

Add Basil and Eggs

Toss in the fresh basil leaves and scrambled eggs. Stir everything together and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.

6

Serve

Remove from heat and transfer the basil fried rice to a serving platter. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve hot.
